Everyone has been saying this for years. Do you know how easy and fast it is to download music? It's blazingly fast, but physical albums are still being purchased by the masses. Why? Because most people like to actually own what they spend their money on. I know I do. That plus I like the art it comes with.
Also, what's going to happen when you really want to watch a movie but your internet is down? Yeah, that's what I thought.
I will never switch to movie or music ...
"According to a recent interview with Tech Radar, Mr. Simonis was quoted as saying that Toshiba and Microsoft, along with any other company, is "more than welcome to join the BDA." He continued by stating that if "Toshiba decides to drop HD DVD, it would extend the hand of friendship to them."
And in other news, Earth is round.

I LOVE Jaffe! He always speaks his mind and is right probably 100% of the time. He reminds me of Patton Oswalt during that video. Hilarious.
Only those poor souls who can't accept hd-dvd is dead needed this clarification, as it was obvious to us other readers....you know, the ones with common sense.
OMG. Please get your facts straight before you get on here and make an ass out of yourself.
Blu-ray has sold more discs than hd-dvd every week since inception.
This "article" posted by the same Bloodmask that surfs www.mysocalledgaylife.com for hd-dvd news. LMAO. Keep scratching.
LOL @ Bloodmask.
Watch the video again.
The clicking, broken sound is present before he even turns on the system.
For all we know, he's trying to turn it on without a hard drive installed.
That's definitely NOT going to be the final official box art.
Like I always say about being a contributer here. It's more about quality of posts, not quantity. Some need to learn that.
"I wonder who's the moron"
You parents for optioning for pro-life?
If they haven't started on it a month ago, how are they at 90% now? Doesn't matter how much news changes, the CEO of Epic personally stated they haven't started production on it yet and you think he was lying? You're a moron.

"So do you know when the 360 one might be out?
Mark Rein: No. We won't even start working on it until early next year."
Bloodmask and Roundpeg are really getting desperate, and it shows! LMAO how they think they're helping their cause, but are really making the 360/hd-dvd camp look dumb by scouring the net for any anti-Sony blog.
If you don't use your PS3 to watch movies, it's not considered "forced" on you.
I guarantee you're probably sitting there using a PC that has a version of MS Windows. But, you don't support things that are "forced" on you.....
Riiiight.
You're are a moron. PC manufacturers have been installing Blu-ray & hd-dvd drives for almost a year now. If I'm not mistaken, Blu-ray drives are being supported exclusively in PC's made and sold by Dell, HP, and Apple.
Wii sucks. It's a fad that middle America keeps supporting.
Yes, The "25 year old Hawaiian organ donor" :)
